Day-of Festival FAQ

  • Yes! Admission to BareRoots is completely free, but we do require tickets to help us plan for attendance. Grab your ticket online ahead of time to make sure you’re counted.

  • On Saturday, September 13, 2025, we’ll be gathering at the historic Thornden Park Amphitheatre in Syracuse, NY. It’s a beautiful outdoor venue with plenty of green space and a single main stage for all performances.

  • Doors open at 2:00 pm! Music kicks off at 3:00 pm and runs through the evening.

  • BareRoots is all ages and family-friendly. Please note that alcohol will be available for purchase on site.

  • BareRoots is rain or shine. Bring a poncho or umbrella and keep the good vibes going.

    Please note: the schedule is subject to change in the case of extreme weather.

  • Production costs like sound and staging, support accessibility, and create a safe, welcoming space for everyone in our community.

    No one on the organizing team is being paid — this is a volunteer-led effort from the ground up.

    Any additional funds raised will go toward next year’s event or be dona

  • Here’s the lineup for BareRoots 2025:

    • 3:00 PM → Pop Culture

    • 4:00 PM → Glass Image

    • 5:00 PM → Vaporeyes

    • 6:00 PM → Honey for the Bees

    • 7:00 PM → Ruha


    All performances take place on the Main Stage at Thornden Park Amphitheatre.

  • Limited parking is available around the amphitheatre.

    Overflow parking is located at the Waverly Place parking garage.

    Bike racks are available. We encourage biking or walking if you’re local!

  • No, there is no public transit directly to the amphitheatre.

  • We recommend:

    • A blanket, lawn chair, or hammock

    • Sunscreen & sunglasses

    • Bug repellent

    • A refillable water bottle (unopened bottles can be brought in; reusable bottles can be filled on-site if water stations are available)

  • Yes, seating is “bring your own.” We encourage you to bring:

    • Blankets

    • Lawn chairs

    • Hammocks

  • For everyone’s safety and comfort, please do not bring:

    • Glass containers or bottles

    • Outside alcohol

    • Coolers or backpacks

    • Fireworks or grills

    • Weapons of any kind

    • Drones or selfie sticks

    • Unauthorized recording equipment

    • Unattended children

  • Yes, pets are welcome as long as they are on leash, well-behaved, and cleaned up after.

  • Yes! Local food trucks will be on-site along with our festival partner, Middle Ages Brewing, serving beer.

  • No outside food or drinks are permitted inside the amphitheatre, with the exception of unopened water bottles. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of food and drink vendors on site to keep you fueled.

  • Yes! Our friends at Middle Ages Brewing will be serving alcohol during the festival.

  • Soliciting, fundraising, or promotional materials are not allowed unless you have prior permission from BareRoots organizers.
